Hemet Metrolink Station Area Plan

Partnering with the Western Riverside County Organization of Governments and Compass Blueprint, the City of Hemet worked to develop a plan to transform their connection to the regional transit system into an opportunity for new development. This project created a vision and design concept for transforming the North Hemet station into a transit village.

Goals:

• Transform an existing transit center into a transit focused mixed use hub
• Integrate farmers market and railroad museum into transit village
• Connect rail service with regional buses
• Coordinate developers with transit planning process
• Develop a shared vision
