This Demonstration Project enabled City of Hemet to envision a plan for a new transit village that would connect new development to the regional transit system.

The project was cosponsored with the Western Riverside County Organization of Governments and the

  • Connect rail service with regional buses
  • Coordinate developers with transit planning process

The Hemet Metrolink station seeks to increase the connectivity and maximize the synergy between the Hemet Metrolink Station and the Downtown area, while building upon larger projects.  Creating a transit village within the City can help foster the distinction of the station as an employment gateway and become a catalyst for Downtown revitalization and expanded market services.
