Engineering feasibility studies for the Hollywood Cap Project

Although capping freeways to create a park may sound dreamy, it's getting closer to reality in Hollywood. After hosting a public workshop and working with stakeholders to craft a vision for the cap project, the Hollywood Cap Demonstration Project is close to publishing their final report. The final report presents descriptive and illustrative ideas of possible park design, segments to include, how buildings could interact with the green space, and how various users could simultaneously enjoy the park. With phase one complete; phase two of the project will entail conducting engineering studies to determine costs and feasibility.
