'Mansionization,' downtown hotel conversions

The City council has made new rules to stop low-income residents to be pushed out of their homes. The new rules limit large new houses or 'Mcmansions' from being built on the flats near downtown. There are also rules going into effects that will block the conversion of historic pay by the week hotels into high-end boutique hotels.
