Ventura County Vision Open Houses

On October 24 & 25, the Ventura County Civic Alliance will be hosting two public open houses to present the results of a county-wide visioning workshop held earlier this year as part of a Compass Blueprint Demonstration Project. The project will forge a "Compact for a Sustainable Ventura County" around a consensus growth scenario outlining a preferred vision for the housing, employment and transportation future of the County.

Expo Line Community Workshop August 25, 2007

The City of Los Angeles is hosting a workshop to share with the community how their input and ideas from previous workshops have been translated into a conceptual plan for the area surrounding the La Cienega/ Jefferson Station on the Exposition Rail Line.  The workshop will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm at the Baha’i Center – Fredrick Douglass School, 5755 Rodeo Road, Los Angeles, 90016

The City of Los Angeles is hosting a community workshop to receive your input regarding a Transit-Oriented District (TOD) Plan surrounding the La Cienega/ Jefferson Station on the Exposition Rail Line.  The workshop will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 10 am – 2 pm at the Baha’i Center – Fredrick Douglass School, 5755 Rodeo Road, Los Angeles, 90016

New Compass Blueprint Website Launched

The Southern California Association of Governments has recently launched a new and improved version of the Compass Blueprint website. The site, www.compassblueprint.org, outlines the ambitious regional growth visioning and planning program initiated in 2000 and making a difference on the ground and in Southern Californians' lives today. Information and applications for free planning assistance to local governments are available on the site as well.
